CONSTRUCTION COMPLETED
on First Track at Chuckwalla Valley Raceway - April, 2010

Construction on the Chuckwalla Valley Raceway started in the fall of 2009 and the first phase was completed in early 2010.

Located in Desert Center, California, the Chuckwalla Valley Raceway is a private, members-only, world class racing facility for both the new racing student and the experienced driver.  Pave West contracted to do the fencing, asphalt and concrete paving, as well as the striping for the facility and the access roads. 

To avoid cold joints in the asphalt, Pave West ran three paving machines concurrently. The paving machines were staggered but close enough together that the asphalt was hot and the paving seamless. 

This was an exciting opportunity for Pave West to be part of the construction of a premier racing facility that will contribute to the racing opportunities for fans in Southern California, as well and Arizona and Nevada.
